XP Install Pro's Wanted! CRC Error

Ok i know this is W7 forums but i chill here so im sure someone here can help.
I picked up an old Gateway P4 PC and a Shuttle XPC mini PC for 20 Bucks yesterday... I wiped the Shuttle and installed XP pro SP3 Worked perfect no issues what so ever.
now im trying to wipe the Gateway and i keep getting this Cyclic Redundancy Check error.
I know its not the CD cause i just installed it on the Shuttle without issue.
I have tried Mutiple optical drives
    Cleaned the CD
Disconnected every thing to the Mobo Except the Optical Drive and the HDD
    Still get this error everytime
    Grrrrrrrrrrrr
    Anyone have any suggestions?
Ive run some searches and most of what i saw said its a hardware issue so how do i tell WHAT HARDEWARE?
Thanks in advance for any help

If your system's motherboard allows booting through a USB drive, you can make a bootable XP flashdrive and install XP.

Make a bootable USB installer for Windows XP, Vista, 7 with WinToFlash

Just make sure you remove all the old partitions and recreate fresh partitions and format before installing.

Its to old or i cant figure out how to set it to do so,,, i sset the USB emulation to HDD but it doesnt find it,, i will try one more time and see if i get it.

EDIT: Thats a horrible USB program,,,, i used one for my W7U install i found here in a tutorial (course now i cant find it) but it was a click point click and installed to USB boom fast! This winto flash thing i had to jump hoops and avoid installing toolbars during set up lol. NBD im working on it i think it wasnt finding my USB before because of a bad port,, ill post back later
    thanks

    Here are some useful tutorials....

How to Create a Bootable ISO from Windows 7 Installation Files

How to Get and Use the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool

In place of Windows 7 disk you need to use Windows XP disk.

The Windows 7 USB tool will not write XP isos to usb. You will have make the usb the manual way which I've done before. This should give you all of the information you need to create the usb stick with Windows XP: How To make Bootable USB

Thats of no help either,, Read the very last sentance,,,
Note that this bootable USB guide will not work if you are trying to make a bootable USB on XP computer.
Ive tried the other tutorial now too that rraod posted but the tool wont download,, it contains a virus. Im about to give up PERIOD!! Im borrowing another Optical drive from a friend and so far its installing correctly but i maybe saying this about 10 mins to early.

OK I GOT IT! ,,, it was something to do with the OLDER optical drives i guess.
