    Firefox 3.1 beta 2+µtorrent WebUI 0.361

Firstly , anyone using this combination?

If so, has anyone been able to download a torrent by dragging it to the taskbar:

I can access and control existing torrents, but every time I try to start a new d/l, it tries to open µtorrent on the local machine and not the remote one.

Have I missed a step, or is this one of the limitations because it's not yet supported in 3.1?

probably a limitation of Fx 3.1 - I am not sure how this works, so I'll have to take a looksie at it...

If I understand correctly it is a Web based UI for a utorrent on a *remote* machine?

3.1 breaks things - a lot of things.

Do you still have 3.0.x installed? try it again in there to verify something else has not broken....

yep. My remote machine just sits there downloading/seeding. I add torrents from this machine via dragging the torrent link to the status bar in the corner and control the torrents via a tab once the the WebUI is enabled in the remote machines µtorrents preferences.

It's worked a treat in F3, but since I had to install with Nightly tester Tools in the beta, no downloads. Just access.

This machines local web based tab:

No, I went straight with the beta. FF3 non-beta isn't installed. I'll install it now.

    EDIT:

Installed the non-beta FF3 and the WebUI works as it's supposed to. It must be a computability issue with the beta.
