    All these youngsters that missed dial up. Hell I even remember putting my phone receiver (yes, corded) onto my 900 baud modem. Modem hooked up to the computer via serial port.

    I remeber the good old days of 5KB/s dial-up

    Would take hours to download updated drivers/software through Windows Update. It was a simple case of 'Set WU to download & install at midnight' then go to bed

    I'll be hones, I never downloaded movies and very few software. By the time it downloaded i'd have earnt the money to go to the shop to buy it

    Ah, the good old days... downloading Netscape ... took all night...now it would only take a minute or so.... aint technology wonderful??
