That's strange. I always thought that dog was the savoury course and that for sweet/pudding, KJ enjoyed pussy!

I've got my delivery today for my cooks professional mixer and knives, even more so I'm thankful to my lovely neighbour for taking it in as I missed the driver. I could have kissed him I was that excited! Lol! One down one to go, deliveries that is not mixers lol!

    Joan what did you get?
Sounds good Angie, what make is the mixer ?

I've got an Asus Laptop with Windows 8, that's why I've not been around much today, apart from it being Friday and always a busy day for me I've been busy sorting it out and setting it up.

I'm having fun so far trying to find my way around, I thought I'd give it a fair trial with the Metro look before deciding if I want to switch to a more familiar Windows 7 look.

Haven't sorted out the forums yet so had to come back to my desktop to post, done my email accounts.

I'm now going to shut this one down for the night and go and play a bit more with the lappy.

I got a cooks professional stand mixer, I've been umming and ahhhing about get one for a while because they're expensive. However, got this on a deal as it should have been £300 got it for £90 so am thrilled. I generally make my cakes with a hand whisk but this is for more heavy duty stuff like the Christmas cakes.

Once I'm feeling better will get it fired up.

Ooh sounds like you're having fun, is it an early Christmas present?

That is definitely a good deal, I have a Kenwood Chef. When I think what I paid for that in the 60's and what they cost now, wow ridiculous, think I paid between £30 to £40 for it and it's still going strong. It came with the K beater, balloon whisk and dough hook, I also got the liquidiser with it.
Hope you have many years of mixing with yours.

You could call the lappy either a late birthday/early Christmas or just a present to myself, which it is I suppose.
