Y'all hafta unnerstand, JimJoe. Them thar UK folks never could git a handle on talkin' English right. Doncha know.
Trouble is you Colonials don't read your English history like what you should. Then you would have heard of the Duke of Wellington. Yes we had a member of the aristocracy who was name after a boot!

Do you have any sales experience? If not, knowing computers well can be sufficient if you are good at communicating with clients to learn their needs and make smart suggestions.

The best salespeople get to know the client, asking the right questions then listening closely. If a PC customer believes you are interested in them and their needs, you may have a client for life.

Dress sharply, smile and assure them you are an active daily member at the top tech help forums on the web.

You can always pose the questions of your clients here to get added expertise. I do this and amaze mine at the wealth of information to be had, often in real time.

Dress clean and tidy. Be friendly and knowledgeable but not a smart a..
How would you go about selling:
Try to understand what they need the PC for and try to explain technical issues in average lay person terms. If you sense the customer is a bit tech savvy then crank it up a notch.

I suppose it is better named after a Wellie.

Could have been the Duke of Rubbers.

They battled in the water loo?
