Well done Team GB -- My dad was in the stadium last night

Hi there
Congrats to Team GB in providing what so far has been an Outstanding Olympic games --in spite of the initial scepticism.

My Dad bless his soul is older than most of you could even think about but was on holiday in London -- he wanted above all to see the 10,000M final (he used to do long distance running in his youth).

The atmosphere apparently was absolutely electric (wish I'd been there with him) and he said to see the home crowd get 3 Gold's was unbelievable -- he'd never heard so much noise in his life --and he used to be BTW WWII bomber pilot !!

Well done team GB - and even for us folks the Games have been brilliant so far - totally confounding the usual nay sayers thinking the whole exercise would be a disaster.

( Just hear also Andy Murray got the Tennis gold singles medal too).

Am absolutely ENJOYING these Olympic games --thanks UK, - and My Dad almost had to be carried off to his hotel by the Police -- still at his age he's entitled to a decent weekend out).
