No Chat room, Admin says it takes up too many resources on the server.

But we have one on one chat in the SF Gadget

No, and no. Sorry, there is no chatroom and there most likely will not be one.

You can use the gadget Doc has linked to though. :)

What? Miss out on all of the fun in the Guru Lounge, the Chillout Room or the VIP Forum?

What about my free elephant wash? No Standing By, no off topic redirects? No more deep breaths of bozone?

No Tews or Kari? No ZigZag or upright walking cat rats? No flying sharks or low earth orbit dolphins? Clint wannabes? No two-legged horses and no Mr. Sanders?

Who is going to shod the children? How will I ever get back to 1955? How will I ever get assimilated? How will I ever learn who killed Kenny? How will I ever get into Cindy's pants?

It is a control thing...sense z3r010 won the Best Windows Website for 2009 people will scrutinize the site even more and if the chat room on the independent site was to go a little haywire it wold look bad on the entire Windows Forums Network that z3r010 has going

Your offer to devote your resources is appreciated but they would not be appropriate for this situation.

    Thanks in short

I agree! Although it is a nice offer you would have to give all control to the admins on the forum and that is not possible, it being your server and all.
