Zune HD
Hello everyone, just curious on how many people actually plan to buy a Zune HD when it is available.
So do you plan to buy one? Yes? No? Maybe?
Personally, I will. =)

I've been thinking about getting a new MP3 player since my Creative Zen Micro 6gig has been starting to give me problems where it wont play some of the music after a few days. I think that's due to its age been using it since it was first out on the market damn that was close to six or seven years ago..
Im going to keep my eyes on them and see how they hold up before i buy one.
My iPod Touch works great.
The only thing I don't like is that I can't get WiFi everywhere.
I have no plans to buy a Zune. Not that I don't like them, but I already spent $200 on my iPod so........ Plus, I think the Zune tried too hard to copy the iPod, and I don't like it when people do that.

Well if you think about it, many companies copy other companies if the other company has an idea that works out well.
Example(s);
Browsers: InPrivate Browsing, Tabs, Tab Recovery, etc.
Operating Systems: Too many things to list
Gaming Consoles: Built-in Hard Drives, Wifi ability, wireless controllers, etc.
I could go on but I'd rather not turn it into a debate (as I tend to do that a lot).
Personally I'm glad microsoft is incorporating Multi-Touch and Web Browsing into the ZuneHD. Main reason I didn't buy an iPod Touch was no built-in FM Radio (shouldn't have to use wifi to listen to the radio).
=P
Oh and I'm sure soon enough there will be a 'Zune phone' or something rather simular.
EDIT: My point was that, its a good thing that companies copy other companies, as most of the time the ones that copy the idea get it to work better.
I have an 80G IPod at the moment, and before that I had a 30G Zune. Needless to say that the Zune just did not work right, so I returned it and bought the IPod that I have now. I did like the Zune alot better, but it was just so unreliable that I have more or less lost faith in it. This is only my experience, so I suppose I just received a bad one out of the batch, so I am willing to give the new Zune HD a shot if my IPod stops working.
I do agree with DarkGundam, it's a good thing that companies copy other Ideas, because often another company will take that idea and expand on it, in addition to interpreting the product in their own way (e. g. different looks, style, and different functionality).
I know that, and most of the time it makes them both better. But to me, the Zune always seemed like an attempt that was completely unneeded to get into a Market Apple had in the bag. It's sort of hard to describe, but I just never really liked the Zune. I have no ill feelings towards it, I just don't want one. *Shrug* its hard to explain.

I think I understand, but think of it this way, if apple had no competition they'd have little to encourage them to make better products.
Plus apple and microsoft will always be going at it. =P Did you here the rumor that Apple may make their own game console? Sony and Microsoft already have it in the bag. ^_^
i vote ney. i have a perfectly working cassette player, btw ALSO has FM radio
