When I signed up for this Forum and it asked for a user name, for some odd reason LittleJay popped into my mind. It has no bearing on my name or anyone I know, so where it came from is a mystery to myself even.

Mine stems back a number of years - over 25 in fact. It was a group at college for the fantasy game Dungeons and Dragons and we drew the names for our characters out of the proverbial hat. I drew Dwarf, so that is what I use on forums. If I find that it has already been used, I just stick my year of birth on the end so that it becomes Dwarf63. I'm just glad that I didn't draw Fairy.

I adopted a phase my Father would say when answering the phone. When I'm in any sort of familiar environs I will normally introduce myself with Linnemeyerhere.

How so? 2 in binary is 1000 and in hex, 2.

Never mind, I was reading about an old and unused binary system.
