My feeling about Armstrong is I could create a web site claiming he is a Martian, and some people would agree with me even though there is no proof. I would just have to make claims, selective quotes, etc.
Could be said about anyone but there are libel laws and defamation of character to protect people against malicious slander. It is true that it is becoming increasingly difficult to enforce though - one of the 'benefits' of our modern communications age. Armstrong is not defending himself.

If someone claimed it was satire that he was a Martian, they probably could get away with it.
    Be careful when disclosing
"he was a Martian" as Brink may be offended!

I wonder if Brink has taken enhancement performing drugs with all the medals he is displaying under his name?

The only positive thing about Lance Armstrong is his blood.

I always looked on the sunny side until now. I thought for years that the cancer treatment drugs might of been helping him win but were legal. Now to me he is just another punk.

I suspected that from the very beginning. But the wife kept telling me that he would never do that after all he went thru.

We follow Le Tour every year since 20 years - even attended ourselves. During those 3 weeks, the world stands still for us.

But I would not be so hard on Lance. A lot of drivers were (and probably still are) doping. It is part of the trade. The man made 100 Million with it. Good for him. Better than politicians that start wars to make money (kick-backs from the military industry).

I've just watched bits and pieces of his comments on being guilty ,doing things he knew were wrong ,ruining people's careers , even those on his own team.
Who is to say he isn't sincere, I too gave him the benefit of a doubt, as it stands now, I was proven wrong!!!
That doesn't, mean I,m not smart at decerning a persons true self, it,s just that , Lance has proven to be dishonest in how he took advantage of these situations when he was racing in these games.( hopefully this isn't a whole lifetime accurance ) .... we, who followed him have been duped by his dishonesty.
I,m very disappointed to say the least..... I expected much more from Lance.

I watched most of Lance's interview. The opening minutes were great, but it gradually degenerated into sort of an Armstrong infomercial. Oprah asks questions in her patented firm voice, but she doesn't follow up much. However, all in all, it didn't matter because she gave Lance the rope to hang himself. Of course, he admitted to what he was busted on (duh!), but I think he continued to lie and hedge on other issues. Lance didn't come across in a sincere manner at all.

Oh, his attempt at a fat joke failed miserably. Fat jokes don't fly with Oprah! Silly dude should have known that.

Each of us are entitled to our own opinions, that's what this thread is about....OPINIONS.
