Waaaaaaay too much education: BA, RN, and JD (lawyer). And the brain-dead after 40 part isn't exactly true. It's more like brain-warp.
My reference to "brain dead" is the perception and certainly not the reality. Maybe it's different in other countries.
Unfortunately in some societies preference is given to a 20+ know a bit rather than a 40+ know quite a bit more. I believe Australia performs badly when it comes to age discrimination. Some self employable trades like a medical doctor are an exception.
One could practice and practice a lot more, then they would be up to date on a lot of STUFF.
Of course they may can't find their car keys .
