The events of that day still make me cry even now.

May the heroes who gave their lives to save others rest in peace.

I am so saddened (and still frightened) by the terrorists attack on 9/11. And as I watch the Ground Zero construction of the new Freedom Tower building on the site of the demolished Twin Towers --- am I the only one who thinks that the terrorists (Al Qida or some other band of zealot terrorists) are just waiting for NY to finish building the new Freedom Tower before they attack that building as well????
I hope not Hopefully with the more strict airports now,it's harder to pull of then back then.

There are 2 videos that still bring it all right back to me as fresh as the bright sunny morning it all happened.. I saw it happening as my hubby was shaving for the day.I sat in the recliner dumbfounded, completely in disbelief !!! It felt like some movie had just popped up on my tv.
    1. The actual footage of what happened with the Twin Towers.. ( 2 ).the Pentagon, then the last of the 4 planes as it went down in the field.
    2. The film of all those picked up by boats out in the harbor after they fled the buildings, streets, covered with soot, dirt .. bleeding and such.
I cry as I view each film, as it is has just happened all over again.
We must never allow ourselves to forget this horrendous act, NEVER.

Wow, I didn't know about this ship! How mind boggling (and fitting) that something like this could have been salvaged from the wreckage of the Twin Towers. Sadly, it looks like we may be needing this ship in the near future, with what is going on with the insane terrorist attacks in Libya, et al. What horrible times we live in, when someone's FILM incites a terrorist riot across much of the globe!!!
