Thank you, MadSupra354 for the recommendation but unless I am reading it wrong but that headset doesn't come with 7.1 sound, right? It would really be a pity when I compare it with G35 though. It is still a beautiful headset, thanks.
The Sirus produces true surround sound, unlike the G35. Plus the difference between 5.1 and 7.1 is negligible.

    Hi 1337,

I'm not a pro on gaming headphones, but right now I'm using Panasonic RP-DJt20 and it's suitable for multiple purposes like listening to music and gaming. You can also adjust the tightness, so it won't come in the way of your spectacles.

I hope you find what you're looking for!

Thank you again, I haven't read up much on the difference between 5.1 and 7.1 as I thought that by having 7.1 will means that it's better... I guess I still have much to look out for when reading about reviews.

Thank you, marystar for the suggestion. I'll look into other brands as well, thanks for giving me a start.

Hello, everyone. Sorry for bumping up old thread and since it is another question again, I figured that it is better off bumping back my old thread.

So, I have bought the SteelSeries Siberia v2 USB Black and is kind of wondering about the sound...
1.) When I play YouTube videos, I can hear a loud echo but all is fine with normal speaker and plugging the headset to the front audio jack. Is this normal? Is there anyway to reverse this?

2.) I did not install whatever MSI has to include like THX Studio Pro, etc. Just Realtek stuffs like Realtek High Definition Audio (Speaker) and Realtek Digital Output, am I good to go or do I need to remove them?

3.) Do I need special settings to enable a better experience when using with the USB thing?

    Sorry and thanks.
