Most use similar, if not the same patches to accomplish the use of AMD CPU's.

I suggest trying iDeneb first, if it doesn't work out well (you'll need to do a bit of researching on insanelymac.com to see what patch to use for your hardware) then try another distro.

I cannot really recommend a distro for you as I only know what one works well for me, and I know iDeneb works great for some, works terrible for others.

    Same goes for every distro.

However this information should help you a bit.

For the 9950 Phenom Quad - Use Voodoo Kernel 9.5.0 with Seatbelt fix
For the 7750 - What processor is that?

ATI 4870 - Look around insanelymac.com for a working kext to install using 'OSx86 Tools' after you install a distro.
ATI 3200HD - No support currently.

I am off to sleep now as I have school today (regardless if I have a fever or not >.>) feel free to leave messages on the thread and I'll take a look when I get back on.

so far i tried iatkos v7 and ideneb1.3

    both didnt work

so how to apply patch i can get lots of patchs but im not aware of applying patches whether i should just copy the patch somewhere in iso folder and rebuild iso burn & install or something different

will try with ideneb1.5 and lawlessPPC 10.5.5 now

but any help regarding applying patches will be great!!!

don't give up on a distro after one try. It took me like 3 days of trying all options and tons of googling before I discovered the right options/kexts to select during the install process. Also, your bios settings are very important as well.

    thanks

Use iDeneb v1.4 its more up-to-date then 1.3.

During the install, when your at the point of selecting a install location, click the area to install (hard drive), then next. On the bottom left-hand side there will be a (Customize) button.

Click it, and view the glorious wealth of patches. Do not be overwhelmed just take your time with it. :)

I'm stalling on going to sleep lol

What happened is Leopard re wrote the MBR of your HD. This can be repaired, you'll need some type of utility bootup disc that can provide you with basic functions so you can re write the MBR. As for the installation going through but not being able to boot afterwards, try now switching back from AHCI to IDE and boot. This for some strange reason used to work for me on older distributions of iDeneb.
