download and burn this to a disc

    UBCD for Windows

boot with it. once loaded look for a utility in the start menu called 'MBRfix' or 'MBRwiz'.

I think either one will fix the issue.

yeah i tried iatkos v7 for last time with ACHI instead of SATA in bios to my suprise it started with grey apple and now mouse and keyboard worked i didhard disk format partion and installed iatkos v7 and it asked for restart when i did it gave boot order selection and i selection OSx86 installed disk and it started DArwin loading

    and it restarted again

i tried many times result was same do i need to apply any patch!!!

(now another prob is win 7 installes in primary hard disk doesnt boot up it says boot mltr missing)
What happened is Leopard re wrote the MBR of your HD. This can be repaired, you'll need some type of utility bootup disc that can provide you with basic functions so you can re write the MBR. As for the installation going through but not being able to boot afterwards, try now switching back from AHCI to IDE and boot. This for some strange reason used to work for me on older distributions of iDeneb.

can u detail the procedure of utlity bootup disk now i want solution for first part

i just want some working OS

(will still try with OSx86 installation later once it get to boot with win 7 )
Yes OSx86 distros can be quite.. time consuming, I'd stay and help you but I need to get some sleep before my GED class today. >.>

    Good luck :)

raj, like I stated in my post earlier, read through my guide on the other thread. It is important you 'hide' the partitions from each other during install and use something like Acronis Disk Director with OS Selector before hand so you don't run into this problem.

To build UBCD4Win, it requires an XP 'Installation' CD.

After DL, it has to installed, then executed, to build A BartPE-type recovery CD from the software's output .iso file.

You cannot use the DL to boot with.
(Unless they've made some drastic changes within the last 3-4 months...)

I'd advise to read this, prior to DL:

    UBCD for Windows

Skip the top 3 paragraphs, and start at "Extracting, Setting up, etc...

Ya I forgot it had to be slipstreamed with an XP cd. Perhaps a search online can yield one already made for you and save you this step. Do a search for UBCD4WIN ISO.

I've heard good things regarding Kalyway, but why are you using such old distro's? Try ones closer to 10.5.8.

They only made a lite version of 10.5.8 since they are currently working on a snow leopard version.

I found the lite version pointless as it wasn't that much smaller then the full version of 10.5.6

Also they removed anything useful, unless you have a mostly compatible computer that doesn't require many 'special' patches.

Anyways, you could try trolling the iDeneb forums and keep an Eye (or two) on their main site as well, I'm sure a SL version will come soon!
