I just found this thread. Don't wanna think about my teeth. I have hardly any molars left. I need $$$$ to get implants but that's a long way off. I used to grind them and have worn away the enamal. Now I gotta be real careful with the one's I have left (still got 3 broken ones)
There's no option for me in the poll.I saw a dentist 2 years ago

I think there should be an other option added to the poll like, RUN.

I knocked a kids tooth out at the park a couple of days ago.

You have to understand how kids flock around the Antman. We were playing Ball Of Pain, aka dodgeball, and I turned around to pick up a poorly thrown ball and forearmed a 6 year old in the mouth. Pop! One baby tooth cleanly extracted.

About two years ago, I am watching my Number One and our neighboroid wrestle on the basement stairs. Neighboroid's foot catched Number One in the jaw and one baby tooth goes flying. It was a really cool scene. Everybody laughed.

i have a picture somewhere, i took when i had my other 3 wisdom teeth taken out. it was about 4 hours later, when the swelling really kicked in, and i looked like Marlon Brando (in his later years).

another chapter of that story. i went to ye local walmart, to pick up my a/b's and my pain meds. just my luck, their computer (as in one) was down, so i had to sit there for 2 hours, or an hour and a half AFTER the Novocaine wore off. they didnt even give me a discount.

well a re-post, as i was so rudely interrupted by the only tv show i actually enjoy watching..

last summer, i started getting chronic (no, not that chronic.) headaches. they came and went, but ultimately left me incapable of doing the simplest of tasks. so, one day i radioed the boss, and told him i was leaving early, cause i might just have to kill the next person i came across. mind you, he thought in his infinite wisdom that my problem was from "drinking all night". hearing that, i whipped up a few choice words to him, and went home. then the big boss, well his wife, ordered that i quote "get my ******* *** to the hospital"

so, against my will (im stubborn) i was driven to the ER, and being that i have no insurance, received the best of care </sarcasm> they gave me an intern, who was quite possibly younger than me, who, preceded to "treat" me. what he did was, in this order, shine a flashlight in my eyes, ask how old i was, and sent me home with a bottle of aspirin. a week later i recieved via mail, a $790 bill for "services rendered".
I tore out a sheet of loose leaf paper, wrote "GO **** YOURSELF!" put it in the envelope and mailed it back.

so after another week of agony, i was doing something, and had an epiphany. i had an impacted tooth. i was certain of it. (i read medical books when im bored) anyway, long story short, it turned out i had 4 impactted wisdom teeth, and the overall cost to have them removed was just over $2000.

after discussing it with my boss, ha actually had the scroat to say "thats a bargain!"
my retort.. "not when i only make $7000 working in THIS s***hole, a year, YOU A**HOLE!"..... he shut up after that. (it was a seasonal job, but none the less)

    ya sound like me buddy

heroine?,...lol. but they might give you vicodin. that works pretty good, and it'll help you sleep (involuntarily). but its a narcotic, and can have some adverse side effects. it made my legs itchy

good luck with you procedures, pacinitaly. its worth it in the long run.
