Years ago I got a Nikon 8008 and a few more lens. All kinds of filters and gadgets. A wop bass flash and took lots of pictures of flowers, plants of all kinds. Old barns was another of my favorites. Took a course at a local college and went clicking. I entered a photo contest at Oberlin College and took first place and then got demoted to 2nd place and the judges friend got first place. Film and developing at 6 to 8 rolls a week made me poor. So I just stopped. About a year ago I got a D3000 Nikon and it still sits around doing nothing. I just can't seem to get in the mood again. Most of the things from the Nikon 8008 will work on the D3000 Nikon so I don't have to buy all that stuff again. I'm thinking next spring would be a nice time to start clicking again. I don't do winter well at all. Give me a post back come spring time to remind me.

I had a Nikormat ( I think that was it) for years and stopped using it due to film costs.

Now I have 2 digital cameras. A Sony and another one for under $100.00.

I noticed about a year ago, no idea how long they have been doing this, but Nikon now has digital cameras.

    Do you like Photography contd

I took these in 1978 using a Pentax KX and Kodachrome slide film. Scanned with an Epson V600.

    Guess where and what.

I've moved on to a Nikon D90 but waiting for inspiration. I'd like to try some High Dynamic Range Photography and portraits.
