Jefferson Starship had a gig in a township park over the summer. The female vocalist was the best they've had in years (also saw them at Maddie's, a local bar, years ago). It was cool to see the old men jammin'

Grace Slick was slick back then. She sure did get old though.
    What a drag.

Well you know what she said, don't you?

Old people shouldn't be playing rock 'n roll on stage (or something like that)

I think this is a better version - from album. I saw them live in the early 70's and bought all their first few albums - very exciting group especially with Fripp's guitar work - and if you happened to like the mellotron, which I did. Probably quite an influential group too.

    She said, "Go Ask Alice".

A line from this, many people thought the song title was Go Ask Alice.
This author took her title form this song. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Go_Ask_Alice

I was making fun of all of us "young at heart" here on the forum.

Everyone else has aged but we haven't.

My wife and I saw someone we hadn't seen on TV etc. for maybe 20 years the other day.
Words out of my mouth to my wife "Man did they get old".
As I said it I realized so did I.

Some songs from the 60s I can still listen to; those from the 70s give me a feeling of they can't be over soon enough if I can't turn them off. It's just not a time period I care to reminisce upon much. But yea, I remember King Crimson.
