I used a

1. a picture of Amsterdam ......

2. Sqirlz Water Reflections

3. a few hrs experimenting with Sqirlz, to see what the different settings do.

4. A fast computer because on my laptop, Sqirlz is unusable.

5. An idea of what I wanted to do

6. The patience to do it and make mistakes

7. Have FF, IE and Chrome to check how it looks.

Note.
The animation speed in FF is too high. All the other browsers present it equal.
This means when you have it exactly right in all the browsers,
it will be way to fast in FF.
So slow it down a bit for all the browsers, until it looks credible in FF and other browsers.

My Sig looks best in IE and Chrome. It moves a bit too fast in FF.

Not good enough to get me to single click, but a very good point it is.

I never had a mouse die on me, well at least not to the extend that I couldn't repair it.
Usually they are replaced with a newer model long before they wear out.

It's not that I am dead against single click, or unwilling to try it.

When I had RSI, I used it for a few weeks, but I just didn't like it.

I spend a lot of time in the explorer, rearranging, moving, selecting and renaming files.
In that scenario single click leads too often to starting programs.

If I could limit the single click to the desktop only, I would probably use it.
The desktop is like a big taskbar, and single click absolutely makes sense there.
But in the explorer I found it to work against me more than it would help me.

Personal preference, that's all.

Honestly I refuse to even give single click a chance just because I already know what you have to do to select a single file... and thats hover and wait. I refuse to "wait" for the computer to recognize i wish to select a file. I want "end-all-be-all" click commands to issue to the computer so it knows exactly what I want it to do, when I want it to do it. Im not trying to flame or troll, but my extremist opinion always has been, and always will be, that single click is extremely inferior to double click set ups. Thats my story and I'm sticking to it.

But by all means, if you prefer the inferior way of operating, be my guest. I just dont understand the logic. Unless your disabled and physically cant double click. Then go for it. If you really dont care about the reasons I listed and just prefer single click, more power to you. How you decide to control your computer does not effect me in the list bit.

I'm just explaining my opinion on why I think one is better than the other. Doesnt make right, just makes me an ***hole apparently
