Been telling people that for a year now, they just yell something about welfare cases and de-friend me. Then I email them this and we never speak again.

A screenshot from the new farcry 3 which much to my amazement just activated itself (on steam) at midnight last night 2 days early. (not complaining) 1080p ultra/no aa I was just tripping on how real the plants look (minus the grass) dx11 transparency at work. Good game too no load screens (unless you die) you can cross the entire world which is even larger than it was in the 2nd game without a single load screen and the jungle, and all the new stealth elements really have me loving it. Do buy this if you have a system that can handle it. (I actually had to leave aa off to keep the frames where I like them.)

edit - looks like I lost a little fine detail converting it to jpg so it would meet the upload criteria here. I'll not be sharing anymore because I'm still fairly certain I'm not even supposed to have it yet. Checked with 3 other friends that pre-ordered and none of theirs have gone live yet.

honestly the way the transparency works with the plant life, it's way more photo-realistic. I took that and about 6 more screens, steam seems to have corrected its mistake it's showing as unreleased again.
(who snitched!?!?! ...jk)

jpg is lossy, png is much better. As for releasing early, that happens. Then they take it back.
