That's alright, I can't type that fast (you try typing with feathers and a beak!).

    Not funny but interesting:

In Southern Finland, in a big lake, a man was canoeing early on last Sunday morning, quite in the middle of the lake, at least half a kilometer to shore every direction. He noticed some animal swimming there and as soon as the animal saw the canoe, it started to swim towards it.

It was a Northern Hawk-Owl, so wet, cold and tired that although it tried to get into the canoe, it couldn't. The man helped it into the canoe, the bird immediately climbed to his lap and pressed its head to his life jacket.

He then paddled to shore and went to near by museum to get the bird inside, the museum guide promised to take care of the bird and put it in a hamster gage, releasing the bird back to the nature when it was clear it had found its strength again and was feeling OK.

    Amazing pictures!

The life saver told the Finnish newspaper Iltalehti (original article, in Finnish) that the reason why the bird's beak looks a bit distorted in the last picture is because it was shivering so much.
