If that book didn't want to be judged then it would look more like a book.
My dad would of knocked me out and feed me to the hogs and claim he never had a son. Now that's judgmental.
Here in Germany both Punk and Goth subcultures are living strong, a multicolor Mohawk hair quite common. An international Goth Meeting (Wikipedia: Gotik Treffe) is held every year in June here in Leipzig where I live, almost a week the city is full with people from all around the world which could give you nice pics to post here in funny pics thread :).
At least this year it's not held at the same week than the yearly festival to commemorate the cantor of our historical Thomas Church, Johann Sebastian Bach. The Bach week and Goth Meeting were until a few years back held at the same time which gave Leipzig a quite unique look and feel for a week; city full of Goths, Punks and friends of classical music. This summer the Bach Festival starts 4 days after the Goth Meeting.
In High School, I had long hair down past my waist. I wore jeans and leather and would have been considered a burn out. I was a good student, and got in no trouble, but if I was judged by my appearance, no one would know that. Some people just express themselves with tattoos, and nose rings, and mohawks. Some are no doubt trouble, and some will look back on it when they are grandparents and cringe :) It takes all kinds. It may not be my style, or yours, but it doesn't have to mean anything bad. Sorry, I'll shut up now. A Guy
Just to clarify, my previous post was in no way meant to oppose your view Bill. I know not to judge a book by a cover, so to say :).
Music is music
Hair is hair
Who knows what this young woman thinks or how she acts. She is someone's daughter.
Bach had some freaky hair too!
She obviously thinks she looks OK, maybe even good, I, however don't agree. Why, if a person is allegedly "normal", do they have to look like a wrecked paint store and call attention to themselves? Don't try to tell none of you wouldn't stare at a person like this if you see them at, say, McDonald's or Jared's Jewelers, or anyplace outside of a costume party.
Bach could take his "hair" off at night and park it on his nightstand.
If you want to look goofy; I have no problem. Just don't get angry when people look at you goofy. Isn't that the desire one was looking for; people to look at them.
