COMPUTIAC that is a great one.
I never had to plug in a book.
I haven't read a dead tree book in almost a year. I use one of my two e-book readers (Kindle and Jetbook Lite) or my TV patched into my computer. I find e-books to be easier and vastly more convenient to read, not to mention easier to store (electrons don't take up much room), organize, and find.

I like the paper versions. I look at displays enough, sometimes I just want to turn TV and PC off and read a book. Especially in bed.

Have to tell you this: my brother, 46 in two months, has read two books in his life, both only because he had to read them for school book reports some 30+ years ago. Personally I have really enormous problems to understand it, I can't understand how someone does not want to read?

Different people have different tastes, likes, and dislikes. I used to work Renaissance Festivals; you probably think I was nuts (actually, I was but you know what I mean). Some people like booze; I don't. Some people like broccoli; I detest it.

Another possibility is he had trouble reading.

According to him he has no reading issues, reads sports and comics from newspapers . He says it's just that he really do not like reading. He's also an early adopter of IT, browsed the net since the Gopher days.

Well, I can see where having a E book while attending college is a good thing. Try lugging a few 300+ page books around for a week . Surprisingly, the number of learning books is very limited when it comes to digital format. More then likely so they can collect the $$$$ (Trust me, they do get expensive).

One strange fact I read somewhere a while back: Research has been done, the reason is still unknown, but it has been proven that people retain what they are reading better when read off paper compared to reading it off a computer screen.

Donald Duck's name in Finnish is Aku Ankka. Aku is a typical Finnish male name, Ankka is Duck (the bird) in Finnish.

Something went wrong or rather was not controlled before publishing the latest Aku Ankka comic magazine which came out today:

A small scandal now in Finland as some Chinese teachers found out that the Chinese in the yellow vase (拉糞) means "to s**t".

That's like the old flap about Proctor and Gamble's old logo was a sign of Satan and devil worship.

If that Chinese text is like a lot of it, it has another meaning too.
