I gave my wife a set of cook ware and a vacuum for Christmas one year. She didn't like them, would have rather had some useless jewelry or perfumed lotions and candles.

Gary, you should have been in Death Valley when we visited in August - 128F. That is what I call hot. The swimming pool at the lodge was over 100F.
