1Bowtie, sevenforums GURU, past away Saturday December 1, 2012 at the age of 69. He had spent the day visiting with his family and watching his favorite football team (OU) win the last game of the season. Shortly after eating the afternoon meal he had a fatal heart attack that took his life in an instant.

He had a passion for computers and helping others when he could. One of his proudest moments was when he became a GURU on the sevenforums. He was my oldest brother and my best friend, we shared many like interests and I miss him dearly.

Mods: if I put this in the wrong forum please move to the appropriate forum.

I had just asked Smitty 2 weeks ago to look at Alan's problem with his new build. He had helped me with some tricky hardware problems before.

He will be sorely missed. He is a part of a team that has advanced SevenForums to the top of its class. We carry on in his spirit and in his honor.

Further to my first post Pat it is of little consolation but at least he didn't linger it was quick. I am so sorry for your loss.

This is a timely reminder to everyone I think re making sure we get ourselves checked out.
