Now that I have quit smoking, if I see even a beautiful woman, she's instantly crossed off my list if I see her light a cigarette. The thought of kissing a smoker when you don't smoke is

Good luck with it Julian, you can do it. I used the patches I'd tried the lozenges at first and they were horrible so went to the doctors and he gave me the patches. 4 weeks on the top strength, 4 weeks on middle strength then 4 weeks on the weakest one.

I'd tried a couple of times before but it didn't work I even went to the doctors and had hypnosis, but since using the patches last month was 7 years since I smoked. I smoked a lot shop bought and roll your own, I was 16 went I started and in my 60's when I stopped so I'd been smoking a lot longer than you so if I can do it I'm sure you can.

That's something I never tried putting a cigarette in a drink and then sipping on a Tequila and tonic with a splash of tobacco!

thanks joan, i stopped a few years ago for 6 months and only used the patches for one week, so im sure i will get there. ive only had two sprays this evening and i feel ok. not too stressed. i think i have the mind set right as i want to give up. nowt worse than having things forced upon you i tend to fight those out of stubbornness so im turning the stubbornness to my advantage.
