I cant see them in the deleted items section, I'm not on my PC and don't have access to the logs atm so I'll flag it for Shawn to take a look at when he gets up.

We never delete anything intentionally (sometimes we do mess up with a selection of a post), do you have a link to one of these posts so I can try to track it down.

Two posts have gone. One after post #7 and one after post #9!
Yep, I cleaned up that thread some to remove the comments posted to not help the OP since it was XP and not Windows 7.

Shawn you're welcome to remove any of my posts that don't contribute to a solution, or show exasperation which I have not been able to control and which embarass me or the Forums.

In the beginning I was able to pick up many valuable tutorial links here by Shawn changing them in my posts from outside links. Others complained when this happened to them, so I asked Shawn specifically to continue doing this for me. I have 270 active bookmarks, most of them to 7F tutorials and many of which I acquired this way. Our tutorials here are the pride of the help industry.

We should never lose sight of how lucky we are to have the most highly regarded person in the tech field as an Admin here. Shawn only makes us look better and I've never seen him be less than a maestro with editing. So please edit me Shawn. It might temporarily sting but I have no doubt it will make us all look better.

Precisely! As you say this was clearly a Windows XP problem as the OP had even put Windws XP in the topic title. My two posts and report submision all just pointed out that this is a Windows 7 Forum not Windows XP. When this last happened if I recall correctly the Topic was locked for this very reason!
But what is done is done. Lets forget it and move on!

Good on you, Mitch. Shawn always makes us look good.

We also have provided a huge XP support function with a thread for Dual Booting XP which has milliions of views and thousands of comments where we continue to Support it. So I am personally amenable to handle XP questions when they come up since we have had to remain honed on it for that reason, and Shawn may feel the same way since it's his tutorial.
