My internet is fine. Problem's only with SF. Things work well when I browse rapidly through forum pages, problem starts when I write a post that takes sometime to type and then click post reply - stucks there. :/

It's probably a fault with that dodgy proxy you are connecting with

I had to take my internet connection back.
Browsing speeds are okay here as well. Hate the download.

Problem solved. Solution: Firefox. Dont know what's up with Chrome.
