sorry to hear about smudge joan, i used to have two cats, cheeky and smudge, they were sisters.
our present cat toffee is getting old now also.
but danny keeps her on her toes with his swords and shrieks
I'm sorry to hear your news Joan. Also I hope you soon feel better Colin, that is a very nasty virus and fortunately we have never had it (not I know of and we are quiet a healthly family and eat pleanty of fruit and take multivitmain tablets etc).
Hi Joan
Sorry to hear your news. Have been there many times but it never gets easier. Our dear collie dog is showing signs of age but our tortoiseshell cat is a little younger and we tend to forget that we only have them for 12 to 14 years at best. When we loose a pet we say, Never again! But then we always do! Thinking of you Joan
Best regards as ever John.
Not staying long but just wanted to thank everyone for your wishes. I've spent the day looking and keep thinking she's going to come walking in, the only good thing is that she came to us and we were able to give her last couple of years all the love and care she wanted.
I'll miss having my companion with me on my desk when on the computer and sitting on my knee being combed when I sit down to watch telly.
Joan,
Sorry to hear about you loss of Smudge.
I lost Sadie (Yellow lab) to cancer growth over 2 years ago and even to this day I miss her dearly.
The vets let me hold her while they put her down and let me stay with her as long as I wanted.
We even drive by the Vets establishment on our way to Sunday's Church so I wave as we go by.
Dennis
