    ^ Also Joan, since this is the winter time and static electricity is more prevalent, make sure you're completely discharged before handling any memory or internal computer components. Usually you can do this by simply touching a metal object, right before you begin. A grounding strap is the "proper" way of doing it, but that's usually a bit overkill for someone who doesn't work with sensitive hardware components all the time.

    Just been informed I'm getting an early birthday present. My daughter told me she would get me a cat, I thought it would be nearer the time but no, she's phoned to tell me that she's been in touch with someone who is sadly having to get rid of their pets because they've been told their daughter is allergic and her condition is made worse by the pets.
    Hubby is going to pick it up later, we don't have to name this one she's called Willow and is 18 months old and black. Wonder what Sooty's going to think of her.
