Safe journey, Greg. Perhaps you'll be able to get some insider info on where MS plans on going with Windows 9 (or whatever it'll be called.)

    Have a nice time Greg.

Anyway I had a good afternoon at the shop. Also I saw this old VW when I was walking back to home. I'm about to finish setting up Windows XP and put my first old game on it.

Man, that sounds like fun. Have a good flight and a better time at the conference!

As for me..... have spent all day (so far) working on step-moms circa 2004 80gb xp emachine machine. After spending so much time on 7 now,xp feels almost prehistoric!

I'm not at my best with a mobile phone. I just don't like them but I carry one just for emergencies. I can make and receive calls and that about it. Texting etc leaves me cold. I charged uo the phone as usual yesterday and when it was finished switched the phone on (or so I thought) The poor old thing, I think it is called a "brick" died. So I took it into the local phone shop in the hope of saving the simm card. The man in the shop just pressed a button and hey presto the phone was working again. How embarrassing I had been pressing the wrong button but who would have thought of pressing the "Off" button to turning it on. Mind you I have been doing just that for about 5 years wih this phone!
    Am I getting old
Answers please in a plain brown envelope!
