Oh god, I wonder how long the other three ports will last!

    Try this:
Find a short USB extension cable, fit it into the faulty port and hold it fast with a bit of parcel tape or Selotape and just plug any peripherals into the extension cable. That way you don't keep disturbing the damaged port!
Would be a bit of a fiddle to fit a new port,I think!
Thanks for the tip mitchell but I've got three other ports on the top and 6 or so in the back so I think I can make do without it :) I'm just glad it was only a USB2.0 port that I snapped.

Looks like they spent all of their money on a lambo rather than a house

I have been walking Gracie as usual to-day and I saw 2 modernish classics in Battle. "Robertsbridge Garage" doesn't exist anymore it closed/knocked down years ago, but it was one of the few garages that wasn't self service.

Carl, to have hobbies and be enthusiastic is a positive thing. To share your enthusiasm with others is also a positive thing.

But, as has been told to you earlier, you need to respect privacy of others, and laws concerning that privacy. Even if there were no laws you need to think the ethical side of it: Do not in any circumstances publish pictures of other peoples cars with license plates full identifiable. You need to first make the license plates unidentifiable using any GFX app to hide / blur the plates or simply cutting them out of the picture.

When you think of it it is as much "bad manners" as to publish other peoples phone numbers, full contact details or such.

Colin, I'm concerned. Not because you are an obvious scofflaw, flaunting your civil disobedience in the face of the local constabulary. Nay, I am concerned because of your advancing years and penchant for self-inflicted injury. Need I remind you: bicycle + rock + shin bone = PAIN.

Since you seem determined to push beyond your physical limits, may I respectfully suggest . . .

You be careful on your bike, Golden. Anyway I have been walking Gracie as usual this morning and I saw these two classics (Land-Rover and Jaguar). We are going to ASDA shortly to do our weekly shopping.
