    Sorry to hear of your troubles...
    Speaking of which, a very dear friend of our family has just been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She looks and acts quite healthy for her age and now... she's going to be faced with chemotherapy.

    It's officially new year here in India .... My resolutions are


    • quit smoking (Just had my last one)
    • Develop something new
    • Be more helpful to the community (I was very busy last 2 months need to find more time for the community)
    • Start reading books
    • Be a better friend, Better son, Better grandson and spend more time with family than with Computers
    • Take a trip somewhere (It's almost 5 years since I had a vacation)

    You have my deepest sympathies! My family just went through that ordeal last summer, when a beloved member lost his life due to complications with Parkinson's disease.

    That's a good list Shyam. I wonder whether the smoking part will work. I made that resolution since 50 years - it never worked more than for 1 day - except once when I actually managed for 6 months and gained 25 Kilos.

    #1 To be more Positive this year

    #2 Keep on the path of no accumulated Debt ,This year has been awesome we owe no-one but the Rent

    #3 Keep providing a good resource of education around for my little one

    #4 Make sure I keep telling everyone around me I love them never know when one might leave us .....



    Even though I practice these yearly ,I don't mind repeating them as they are the rules that have gotten me this far
