It was in the low 90`s today in Wildwood, NJ, a perfect beach day. Took some pics from the top of the Ferris Wheel at Mariner`s Pier.
Nice pics Adder's Did you know that the sun in the second pic is just about below the horizon - what you see isn't what you are actually getting - fact!

Our weather despite this pic cos orange is about 40 kms away has been perfect I love the spring and autumn out here.

A very humid, windless 25 c here today, the UK is enjoying a rare heatwave, due to stretch into next week. We have had 31 c at times. We need a sign at each port: "Do not Disturb - inhabitants cooking."

The NW of Scotland has rain and only around 12 c, which probably feels like a heatwave to the Highlanders and Islanders!

Another week and the hosepipe bans start, garden sprinklers will be banned, nothing panics Brits more than weather that is perceived as too hot or too cold!

We had the worst, wettest, coldest spring on record, now we have heatwaves. We might all start developing Mediterranean temperaments soon!

Except for two days, since June 23 it's been relentlessly hot (90°F+) and damp/humid/muggy at my place. Today it was 97°F outside, 90°F inside. That means my PC idles at 41°C, so Folding@Home's 100% CPU use is out of the question.
Air conditioning? Not when power costs 13.5¢/kWh.
