Hehehe. I'd give it a try but it's only available on Amazon or eBay here and is expensive.
Try Marmite, same stuff get it from MARSH in the international isle
Thanks, I'll check it out. An Aussie buddy says it's better than Vegemite but since I've had neither, I won't know.
There is only one true vegemite.....all others are 2nd hand substitutes

    President Obama's view of Vegemite

Like caviar it is an acquired taste that some palates will never appreciate.

Be aware, what your buddy eats may be different

There's more than one Marmite. In New Zealand and Australia the Sanitarium Health and Wellbeing company sells Marmite but it has added caramel and sugar to its version, which obviously gives it a sweeter taste. Sanitarium bought the rights to use the brand name back in 1908.
BBC News - Marmite: Ten things you'll love/hate to know

    Also

It is safe to say if you haven't had Marmite before the age of 3 then you won't like it.
    Is marmite good for you

You may have better luck with the Marsh in West Lafayette thanks to the International nature of the student population. I know the Marsh store at 86th and Zionsville Rd in Indy has it.
And it is raining, all the snow has gone from my back garden. I'll bet the grass wakes up and grows a foot in the next 3 days. Currently 57F in old money and 14C in the new money. Humid as hell to feels like I have a leprechaun on my chest and makes it hard to breathe. Any youngsters reading this please look after your heart, it makes life difficult when it plays up. Mine is family history.....
