No, they are quite a way south of us in San Diego County.
Our BIG one was around July 4th 1985.
It was a doozy. Google can't find the details.

I have the rain on my doorstep which Gary sent my way. Norwalk is getting poured on right now.
Yep, I am aware of that.
I speak to my favorite sister in law every day. Like me, she's a Norwalker now living with a niece in Waterbury. I always kid her about the rain.
I think we've had rain for 9 straight days now and not just sprinkles, very hard a lot of the time with winds 20-50MPH.
Bob what radar sit is that, looks better than Accu Weather.
The one I posted earlier was : Connecticut's Extreme Weather Home | WXedge.com | Live Radar: Tracking Rain
I like to use The Weather Channel also for real bad stuff : Weather Map for 06460 - weather.com
When there is a real bad weather situation coming I use NOAA only for mapping.
Being a Yachtsman for many years NOAA and the NWS were the only two combined to use for accuracy on the water.
Too chilly this morning for the tomato growers, a crisp 56 temp, along with off and on rain..
more on then off. Hope everyone has a very good Saturday.
Beautiful here, sunny and not as cool.. Maybe the tomato crop will be ripe on the normal schedule,
last week of May or early June..Pink Tomato Festival is the 2nd full weekend of June annually.
I also had Gary's first tomato from last year, can't find it.
