While Diesel appears to be an option, some facts about it need to be brought to light...3. Diesel has a notorious reputation to wax up (gel) in cold weather.. While there are additives (kerosene) that can help, but all it takes is one time and you end up wishing that you had a gasoline engine.
My last winter in Colorado, I burned up two starters in my little red Benz.

What I like most about that engine (when in good repair) - cruising with ease at 85 mph for 10 hours is like a walk in the park. And the engine has 370k miles on it.

I love how enviroweenies say a hybrid is more enviromental when in truth, it in fact more harmful because of the toxic batteries they contain that last maybe 10 years at a time and are outragously expensive to replace. I also love how non-informed people think America has to rely on foreign oil when in FACT we have the LARGEST oil "reserves" in the entire world combined. It is located in Texas, Gulf of Mexico (China is taking our f**** oil! because of lame politicians keep backing off!), Colorado/Utah/Idaho/North/South Dakota (President W. Bush signed a bill to allow "test" drills for multiple oil companies to see if it was possible to convert shales into fuel, President Obama has since vetoed it....), Alaska has ANWAR where again enviroweenies care so much about the precious animals when in truth the only place we need to drill is a blip on a Rhinos ass...come on! Yet we keep going down the drain economically and we're sitting on a ****ing pool of money...

    Hi Sergio,

Whilst I agree that for a full discussion of this subject political factors may be needed, this forum does not allow political discussions as per the rules we all agreed to on sign-up
