A thread back from the dead. Interesting. I just read it from the it's beginning two years ago.
Worth doing as it's amusing but also interesting to see how many of us are still around the forum and how many have fallen off the earth.
I'm too old and congealed to think about upping my roots but I've always fancied the Great Lakes area of North America, probably the Canadian side.
You're right about the tv "licence" pacinitaly. Everybody has to have one, even for a pc with no tv tuner! The BBC has no advertising and good general quality but there are loads of commercial channels and you still get charged even if you only watch them and not BBC. It's a stealth tax.

As the Danish version is over a week in the future, I ordered a Windows 7 Ultimate Retail 64bit at amazon.co.uk earlier today. Now I am being told, that I will not bee able to activate my Ultimate as it is not brought in the same country as I live in. All that EU-crap :mad: Can anybody...
