I got a barebone pc and decided to go w/7, although we have four Win8 computers in our household.

It's the first time I've put a system together, and the board has been a great resource. I should have done something like this a long time ago.

Yes, you belong to inventory. I can see John sitting at home, some Courvoisier in glass, reading the check list aloud for our "move":

I had a problem with Win 7 back up, searched google which led me here.

Joined to ask Remove System Reserved Partition+Partition Wizard and Greg helped me fix the problem with just one reply really.

Been here ever since learning and helping if I can.

Honestly I came across this site many times in a google search and never even thought to look into it. I was a member at pcpitstop forums and it was helpful and semi similar so after a while I decided to give it a try. Thought people on here would be more respectful and helpful and that I would learn somethings and help others with the knowledge I have

I came across this forum, while doing a search and decided to check it out. I spent a few months as a "lurker", before I finally deciding to join. At first the main attraction for me was the wealth of information and free help available, but now I also enjoy the online friendships I have made here as well. I am not as computer savvy as many of the people on this forum, but I do try to help when I can and get real satisfaction when I help someone solve a problem.

I don't remember how I came across the forums, or why I joined. I know I joined and didn't make a post for over a year, I just consumed all of the information I could. I guess one day I had something to say and the rest is history!

    Welcome to Seven Forums pseudoware

I actually found Seven Forums before I got my Windows 7 PC. Went searching for Windows 7, and it was obvious which was the cream of the crop. I joined because I'm not bashful

I followed a link to a post or tutorial here (don't remember which; old age sucks) on HTG and, while I was here, nosed around a bit. I liked what I saw, especially since I need all the help I can get (including with computers), so now you all are stuck with me. Be afraid, very afraid.
