Today I decided to help out a friend of my parents to install his new 42" plasma and was shocked when he insisted that I take his old set as payment for my help. So I will soon be utilising a 2 year old 32" LCD as a monitor

Nice. That's bigger than my TV, 26" but my monitor is 24".

    Thanks Ted,

The thing is I honestly did not expect anything as payment so it just goes to prove that sometimes doing the right thing can be rewarding

Ooooohhhh, lookey lookey lookey at me.

I'm on my 7 machine (albeit with a borrowed graphics card) but....

    It's working!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now, I have really tough decision:

    a) fold washing, do the washing up, vaccum the floors, pick up toys

    or

    b) spend the night setting up my new computer

I think I know what the answer is :)
