Today, I was able to help somebody out here with something that was baffling them.

For once, the subject matter was something I had a clue about. I don't have the breadth of knowledge that many of you members have, but I am usually pretty good at explaining what I do know.
you don't have to know everything just how to properly use a search engine and you can accomplish a lot
Good point....hadn't thought about that. I would worry about giving the wrong advice and hearing that someone fried their system though.

i can sometimes but lately when i fly it's a small personal plane that my grandfather has been trying to sell and it's frowned upon for the pilot to sleep

    Hmmmm

Today I spent over $400 on textbooks which normally doesn't sound bad except, I get them at cost price so I can't imagine what 'normal' students are paying.

I also found out my daughter has talipes (inturned foot) and starts physio next week. I had hoped she would grow out of it but this is the age they recommend to start intervening so I hope they can fix it through physio and she doesn't have to wear a splint later down the track
