    My distinguished fellow guru, may I point out an error in your statement: When we (civilized metric system) have already 2.54 units (cm) snow, you (medieval imperial system) only have 1 unit (inch). One inch equals 2.54 cm. Ergo, we get snow two point five four times faster.

    He could, of course, have taken 25.4 mm in which case he could say that he gets snow twenty-five point four times faster.
