So how has all this rescheduling, etc. affected your Ultimate 'freebie' giveaway ?

    Did you "get some" ?

Antman. Florida's the place to be according to the shock doc I just watched.
I've never been but it seems to be full of oxycontin addicts sweating a lot.
Pity. Looks like a nice place otherwise.:)

Today I reformatted my pc at work and now dual boot xp pro sp3 and 7 ultimate. 7 installed no problems at all. all i needed to add was the scanner, everything else was taken care of. Brilliant! I doubt I'll touch the xp install at all. I might now look at upgrading all the pcs.

I'm very happy with how it went. Super smooth. Didn't even need to use my printer driver disc, 7 took care of it.

Today I did my first and hopefully last system image restore.

All worked great, and as far as I can see, the computer is how it was before the restore.

In the Windows 7 Forum are so many tutorials, great!

zx81 Im happy the restore worked for you but I have to say in the world of computers there never will be a "last" time for anything until the hardware is dead....

Ok well today I had to say goodbye to my old friend Athlon XP chip.
It was a machine I built in 2000 it was an Athlon XP 1800+ at 1.33Ghz, 1gig of DDR ram, A MSI K7T266Pro-RU Mobo ATI Radeon 32meg Dual 40gig Seagate drives and a 80 WD drive. It has run everyday for the last nine years and today I come home to see the power supply has fried it's self and the mobo. I really liked that machine it ran better then a lot of others I built guess it was its time.
