Well today I took 2 of my cross-stitch pictures to the framers, think I'll do just a few small ones for the time being I can frame them myself so it doesn't cost so much
    Do post some pictures Joan!
One of them is showing in my web site I just cellotaped it to the wall to photograph it's the one on black background with an owl flying over, I'll put a new photo in there when it's framed as well as the other one that's gone to the framers.
If you click on the link in my sig you should be able to see some that I've done.
So my mother was being nosy and was looking at my computer and saw your cross sitching...

She wanted to know if you happen to sell your work...she quite liked it

Men are best "taken" shopping on a tight leash - so they don't go missing at the check out.................
The Handbrake complains about my speed around the shops all the time. Not sure why, as all i do is push her wheelchair around.
Apparently her neck gets a bit sore from looking around too quick as i zoom past shops of interest to her.

Some women are hard to please, i reckon.

    Oh, yes, Today.......

Took the wife to the dentist. Did not hurt me a bit.
Can't say the same for her, poor thing. Went to have her problematic lower dentures re-fitted, which had to be cut into 3 bits to get them out, 2 weeks ago.
Once again they locked down hard on one side.
Just like the previous visit, went in for a half hour fitting and ended up being 2 1/2 hrs, whilst having to be unexpectedly sedated.

Best thing today is, she now has 3/4 of a lower denture, so at least she can eat the burnt offerings i cook over the Christmas break.

Thanks for the good wishes, guys. The dentist is brilliant, but trying to get the stuck dentures out, has made her bottom jaw bruised and is very tender.

Fortunately, a few cuppa's and some good pain killers, made her tired. Fast asleep at the moment, so i'm as quiet as a church mouse.
Give it a couple of days and she (Sally) should be well enough to eat what i have planned for the festive season.

Yes, the ol' Handbrake. Gave her that name, as she slows me down, lol.
Tried to convince her she needs an electric shoprider. That way she shops at her own pace AND it will be fitted with an orange flag on a pole. How can one resist??

Today we are getting ready for our Early Christmas Weekend. We have a gathering of family members that have other places to be on Christmas. We have a dinner on Saturday then open gifts. The kids love it. Lots of pictures around the tree. Merry Christmas to all the friendly people here on SF.
