    Hope your feeling better.
The last time I was in the hospital I hated it too. The nurses were glad to see me go, I guess I wasn't making their job very easy, Kept removing all the stuff they were attaching to me, and the endless beeping....Anyway I hope all is better now.:)

    Yes much better :)

I apparently had a lung that just collapsed on me.

I was very close to pulling tubes out myself after the 2nd day .. quite painfull.

I think the tube they put in to treat me was more painful than anything

Today my daughter (barely 1.5 years old) started calling me by my first name instead of mummy. I almost shed a tear. I knew it would happen sooner or later but not this soon.

    Please Nina
    More Nina
    No Nina
    Up Nina

... and you're going to allow that?

No but right now, while her vocabulary and comprehension is developing very nicely, at 18 months old, reasoning with her is not the easiest task to acheive. She is very much at the 'monkey see, monkey do' age so she is only copying what she has heard from others. I have chosen to reiterate that my name to her is mummy but it will take a while for this fact to sink in. I'm more proud that she is learning so quickly at this point and has observed that others call me by a different name. It is actually quite fascinating to see how she is learning at this age so its not exactly something she is going to get punished for IYKWIM.

Sorry, it's just your former statement seemed to me you had resigned yourself to it.

"Spare the rod, spoil the child"? I don't think Dr. Phil would approve.

today i spent hours searching out new visual styles for windows 7 and asking the creators for permission to post them in a thread i will soon be making so look forward to seeing some really nice work. i've also decided that to gather start orbs for the existing thread but once again they will only be added as i get the authors approval so lets all hope for the best on those as i think they could draw lots of new users to our site.

There is already a sticky in customization by Sergio that details custom themes to use (not all of them are by members here)
