    Sgt. Hartmann

:)Lee Emery AKA R Lee Ermey went under a couple of different names.
His first break came from Stanley Kubricks "Full Metal Jacket."
For trivia buffs, Stanley directed one of the most iconick motion pictures of the time: "2001, A Space Oddessey".
Getting back to Full Metal, Emery was a technical advisor for the movie and an actor was cast for the roll of Sgt. Hartmann, Stanley was not satisfied withthe actors performance. But he was impressed with Emery, so he screen tested Lee which consisted of Lee giving a stream of profanaties for over 30 minutes uninterrupted while being pummeled with objects. Stanley was so impressed with him he cast him on the spot.
Lee has appeared in may films and TV, of last season you could have seen him as Greg House's Dad. In the series House MD he was also cast as a Marine.:)

Once a Marine, always a Marine.

The only ex-Marine? Lee Harvey Oswald.

    One helluva good shot, though.
