    Burping a cat

Does anybody else burp their cat. I do because she won't quiet hollering at me until I do. It's easy to figure out when the cat (Helen) wants burped. A little burping a little puff out of one end or the other and the hollering stops for a while.

Nope, never have. She should see a vet though if she is have gastric issues. Maybe she has trained you to get some attention too. Cats are wily critters.

The vet says things are okay with her. Just some kinds of cat food make that happen. He did state if the cat ran around playing and such it would happen naturally. Helen is a no play cat. She don't even like catnip, cat toys ect. She will chase a little red light down the hallway about 3 times and that is it. Back to napping. She is not overweight. She is healthy. She won't eat fresh salmon or tuna fish she just tries to cover them up like cats do in a litter box. Never had a cat like this before.

    New to me.
Used to have a Chocolate Lab, 100 + lbs. and he would take care of such bodily functions for himself.
Believe me, I would either hear it or smell it. Very healthy functions at that !

I'd never heard of it before or had to do it with any of mine. The latest one is very active and charges round like something gone mad, she loves playing with toys. She is curled up at present on the couch at the back of me but she's had a mad session earlier, she is still recovering from her spay op so she doesn't go outside yet.

Ok, that was as phony as a four dollar bill. If they hadn't freezed the frame to extend the length of the second burp, it might have fooled me.

I have heard dogs belch and pass gas many times.
