A lot of people like myself also use those forums.
Does anyone here know why they no longer load?
They were working fine last night, but they don't load today.
Have they gone off-line or are they down for maintenance?

Looks like they have a database error, I'd expect they will have it fixed pretty quickly.

Next time try a "is it down" website (there are many now) or try loading the website in a virtual server space. Browserling – Online cross-browser testing

Sad to hear that win raid forum will be closing down at the end of the year.

I've been to that forum a few times and looked interesting.

I learn something new from one forum that I can't learn from another forum, and some forums differ as to what content is allowed or banned.

I currently make use of these 2 forums besides the Vista/Seven/Ten forums.

Win raid forum is excellent. Dieter is 79 now, so not surprising there are more important things to spend time on.
Very sad it looks like it will be closing down soon.

Yes, Win-raid is (as of now, almost was) an excellent site with a plethora of hard advice. Canonkong's posts are enormously great value. Sad it's closing but still, at 79, Dieter has earned retirement.

MDL has middling value (my view), with some interesting threads.

Sevenforums (here) remains a cornucopia of interest. Most of my advancement in Win 7, such as it is, came from a combination of all three of these sites, with SIW2 here the largest contributor.

He would have been ~62 when I started joining and bookmarking forums. God, back then I was using Netscape, Phoenix and then the Mozilla Suite. Absolutely amazing how things have changed since 2004. And I did the math with my Amazon (spy tap) Echo Show sitting her on my desk... Never thought something like that would come to fruition. Or a lot of things of the IoT realm anyway. Just the vast use of APIs now-a-days for lots of cool stuff is incredible. I don't even think Github existed back then.

Pretty crazy how time moves faster than lighting in a desert hourglass... I'm the creative type and have drawn and pasteled stuff like this. Even suggested a "twisted time" conceptual art piece for my Bro. for his high school art glass. Got him an A for sure. "Twisted Time" was an hourglass of intertwined clear plastic hoses full of sand. If I only knew how to blow glass...

I'm also an inventor. Being my creative self is often esoteric because I have very, very, VERY^10 deep thoughts. LOL For example: On the subject of time, did you know you build muscle because of time dilation? Gravity is time dilatation and if it weren't for time dilation life would be vastly different, let me tell you...

Anyway, always wanted my own forum and never knew how to do such things. Then one day decided to learn and hey! I have a forum - and a WordPress website, and I'm thinking of a blog. I already own a few domains I might use.

    P.S.

Speaking of how technology has changed. Who would have ever thought you could one day interface an SDR (software Defined Radio), a program to map and log ADS-B "squawk" from overhead aircraft and then interface that with IFTTT to make a Philips Hue light blink with certain aircraft in your area? LOL!
