Those links sound interesting, Tommy. So, as far as what is in the works to be released, I found this interesting. I just downloaded the new version of AIDA64. Read the release notes. New GPUs? I've heard that DDR4 is coming out, but GDDR5 system memory? as well as new chipsets on both sides.

Tommy, it's GDDR5, but as system memory. Just curious if it's possible that instead of using system memory for graphics, they could use unused graphics memory for system memory.

What I have read from these Articles that there focus is on fusion CPU+GPU that might have something to do with the DDR5 usage in the future because AMD said there is no Money in competing with Intel anymore as the market is a mobile industry now and they have focused on a more of the Server side because they said that is the market share

So as far as getting ram from GPU to the system i'm not sure how they would affix this kind of platform but very interesting to see how it's going to play out personally I think they going to less powerful Gpu's and the CPU will be the focus point of how it handles the operations being fused with GPU power

Not competing with Intel was a defensive statement by AMD. There is big money in the server market, but they are not going to just 'give' Intel the desktop and the mobile market. In my opinion, Intel already thinks, and to some extent does have the desktop market. They don't believe AMD can compete with them there. A lot of articles have said Ivy Bridge could, according to Intel, have been made to run at 5GHz stock. But, that is not where Intel is going. Sandy, Ivy and Haswell is focusing on lower power and better graphics. That just screams mobile market to me. I don't know what Intel is doing with Xeon, but it is typical Intel type thinking to say we have the desktop market sewed up, so now we are going after AMD in the mobile market and the server market. They want to put AMD out of business so they can have it all. A great indication of that is the talk by Intel that soon there will be no chip sockets, it will be a motherboard with the chip soldered in. There will be no more changing CPUs. They are going for the motherboard market too.

If they succeed in this effort, not only will AMD be in big trouble, but we will too. Not only does competition bring down prices, but it also spurs innovation and technology. Why did they not make Ivy or Haswell a 5GHz stock chip? They don't have to. They already own the desktop market, as far as they are concerned. If AMD was really pushing them in that market they would have. They will try anything to sew up the market. They really are the 8000 pound Gorilla, but they want to be the 800,000 pound Gorilla. Heck, there was even a rumor discussed here that they wanted to buy Nvidia.

Yeah well I keep telling people that Intel is trying to grab Nvidia that is why they just so happen to mesh well together and AMD just tells people to use there cards because there is no reason for PhysX really CPU already does a decent job of that

It looks a lot better enit chap. I read a couple of threads on the Nvidia forums a couple of weeks ago where people complaing about the hair in Tomb Raider. From the screen shots/ vid i saw the hair was just a solid mass with very little movement. I have no clue if its been fixed yet as i don't own the game but AMD have done a nice job with it for sure
I've only ever had AMD before and had planned on keeping it that way untill my mate decided to cheer me up. I'm still chuffed that he bought my cards for me but wish he'd of listened n got the cards i asked for lol.

I seen both sides are able to use this but.... the way the article reads it is only for Radeon cards but I seen Videos of the I73770K and GTX670 doing this which is weird if they have there own PhysX engine it is confusing because the settings are in the game itself there is also a patch for it this is supposedly the answer to Nvidia
