Liver problems from large doses medicines and blood transfusions the past several years.
    Not alcohol or hepatitis.
    Been tested not hep.
    No street drugs.
It amounts to end stage chirrosis of the liver. No transplant. My heart won't make it through surgery.

Mike, try to keep your spirits up as much as you can. Know there are a lot of people here on Seven Forums who love and care for you and are praying for you. Only good can come from that.

Steve I do I know that.
Have to be realistic for planning.

Plans can be delayed until next year though.

    Thanks eveyone.

I found out yesterday my liver is failing. It appears a matter of time.
I keep plugging away so it could be months or weeks.
    Who knows.
It may stabilize or improve slightly but not a good outlook by doctors.

Stay home be positive and comfortable. Go in hospital a day here and there when needed like yesterday.

Screw the hospital long term or a hospice.
Hello Mike mate this could be due to a number of things and doubtless they have told you why it is so. For what it is worth through 40+ years of being an RN I do have an idea of what you are going through and I think personally you are doing the right thing.
If you ever need any advice or information even though I guess you have been flooded with that I am always on the end of the message line :)

Thoughts are with you my friend.

Glad to see you Mike, but sad to see your news. Like Arc said, stay positive! They say Laughter is the best medicine, if so, you'll be treated well here
